Effective December 2015, the Zeta Rho Foundation, Inc., a public service charity since 1998, has changed its name to Bridge Builders Foundation, Inc. We have chosen to select our long-standing motto as our new name. By the name change, we hope to better communicate our strategic business focus on overcoming obstacles, building bridges and forging pathways from dreams and aspirations to reality for the underserved youth of our community. Those bridges continue to be mentoring and tutoring, STEM, and scholarship programs along with health disparity service initiatives. We also are committed to keep up the good reputation we have had for over 18 years as a public charity serving our community with quality programs. Our goals are to present alternative role models of high-achieving, college educated men, to instill strong and ethical life skills, to encourage high aspirations for achievement, to introduce career alternatives, to expose youth to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, and to stem the tide of underachievement, which characterizes inner-city minority men in our society. Since 1998, Zeta Rho Foundation has touched the lives of over 2,000 inner-city youth primarily through the use of a committed core of some 50 volunteers and effective partnerships with private corporations. This effective combination of volunteers and corporate partnerships has allowed us to build, sustain, and grow a staple of excellent youth programs, which have been consistently changing lives of young students.
The Bridge Builders Foundation welcomes you to examine our programs and activities and invite you to contact us for additional information.
